BLOGTOBER #1: Hello, I'm Hannah

Hey, lovely people. It's Hannah here. Are you okay? I hope you're okay.

I had a big ol' chat with my friend Mariam yesterday over coffee. It was glorious. During the three hours that we were sat in Costa, we covered a lot of topics: books, publishing, social media, writing... Okay, those all do sound pretty similar now that I read it back, but what can I say? We have a lot in common.

Mariam is easily one of the most motivated, inspirational and dedicated people I know. She's constantly working on projects and ideas and to be honest, it's pretty damn infectious. It made me feel both incredibly pumped and incredibly guilty about my lack of creativity lately.

So... here we go. Today is October 2nd. I vow, for the whole month of October, to post a blog post every day. Every. Single. Day. It might be a poem. It might be a post that's been sitting, half-finished, in my drafts for a couple of months. It might just be a rundown of what happened to me today. But there will be something every single day.

'BUT WAIT, HANNAH', I hear you cry. 'IT'S ALREADY OCTOBER 2ND?! WHAT ABOUT OCTOBER 1ST?'

I hear ya. That's why this post is going to technically count as yesterday's. Which means - ZOOP - another post will be going up in a few hours for you to feast your tired, Sunday eyes upon. I have no idea what it'll be about, but that's kind of exciting in itself. I think, anyway. Watch this space.

I hope you're all having a good day. I'm horrendously ill, but I'm also full of chicken soup and sporting a cool new hat, so, y'know. It could be worse. It could always be worse.
