Blogtober #8: The Best Mid-Week Autumn Soup Recipes

I don't know about anybody else, but to me, autumn = soup. Nothing makes me feel as cosy and domestic as a big bowl of soup and some crusty bread on a cold October evening. I used to be a firm tinned soup fan, but in the last year, my boyfriend has proved to me multiple times just how easy making your own soup is (and how snooty and proud you feel afterwards). These are my favourite soup recipes, all that I've made several times, and all that look ugly as hell, but taste delicious (which everybody knows is the test of a good homemade soup).

Oh yeah. I'm poor as hell, so these are all vegetarian recipes. Honestly, don't knock it until you try it. You can spend less than a fiver of veg AND impress everybody on social media afterwards with your domestic cooking prowess. Plus, you get an excuse to eat bread like it's going out of fashion. End of argument. Enjoy!
